Kevin Donnelly

Kevin has a Bachelor of Science in Horticulture from the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign and did his Graduate work in Natural Resource and Environmental Science at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign.

Kevin has been committed to the pursuit of horticultural knowledge since 1994. Before joining Midwest Trading, he conducted sustainable crop production research at Ball Horticulture and has experience as a grower, greenhouse consultant and floral designer. As a Horticultural Soil Scientist, Kevin runs the Center for Horticultural Soils Testing and Research where he oversees quality control of mixes, management of raw materials, blend design and technical support. He also conducts research and development of novel components, product development and industry processes. He is also the tour guide for facility tours. Kevin is a Certified Horticulturist through American Society of Horticultural Science and specializes in horticultural soils, product development and data management.
