Planting is an organized process. The process focuses on the plant, planting procedures and aftercare with modifications needed to address specific site requirements. The bottom line is that specifications must be scientifically sound, feasible within construction operations and efficient in terms of labor requirements.

We will examine the critical points involved in the planting process.

During his time at MSU, Dr. Schutzki was responsible for teaching and extension in the area of Landscape Horticulture. His efforts focused on landscape design, plant establishment, plant problem diagnosis, and landscape management practices.
